thats right...7 months

This kid learned more this month than any other.
  • As mentioned before he is a crawler. And i feel like once that happened he has discovered a whole new world. And the rumor is that this is when mommy loses 10 lbs because you can never sit still...lets hope thats the case!
  • He pulls himself up on everything, including daddy's leg hairs
  • He doesn't quite know how to get down from an up position. He will usually just start crying till someone helps him.
  • He crawls from a sitting position but doesn't really know how to sit back up after crawling.
  • He has 6 teeth now...4 on top and 2 on the bottom.
  • He went on his first plane...twice and again tomorrow. And luckily he has been amazing. Usually just sleeps. But when he's up, he is up! That kid is a mover.
  • Literally he can't sit still. And if he is sitting, his hands will be moving around in circles.
  • Is a good eater. But doesn't really like the green foods. And doesn't like applesauce, which is weird, cause everyone likes applesauce.
  • Can't stay seated in the bath for longer than a minute has to pull himself up on the side or the faucet.
  • IS a TALKER/singer! this kid loves to babble all day long...especially in the car. It makes me laugh constantly. I really feel like he is trying to tell me something. Once those words come I don't think he will ever stop.
  • Is a very happy boy.
  • Loves to explore knew places, anything outside.
  • If I point something out to him, like the birds or a dog, he will look in the direction like he understands what I'm saying.
  • Enjoys watching other kids
  • Eats the sand at the beach.
  • Likes to be up and walking.
We have an active little guy and we are loving every second of it!

OK!

I went to Oklahoma last week and surprised my mother and sister-in-law. They had no idea, which made it that much better. They were at youth conference and I just walked in and both of their faces were classic, they were so confused/excited to see me, BUT mostly Beck!
On friday there was a big pageant that Rachel was in. 7 stakes in Oklahoma were involved and parts of Arkansas and Texas. I think it was a total of about 900 youth. It was quite the production and everything turned out so great. She was involved in a country dance, a 30's and 50's dance. It was so fun to see her having so much fun on stage.
Okalahoma was really hot this week but we still had fun going out to eat, shopping, not driving in traffic, watching movies, playing with Beck, talking and sewing. (yea, my mother-in-law made me a cute skirt in a couple hours. no big deal) And we also got to see a really cool thunder and lightning storm, I love a good summer rain. Beck enjoyed that as well. It was fun to be there and visit family.

We did miss Pehrson and when he picked us up from the airport Beck had the biggest smile on his face. I wish I got a picture of it, but he totally knows who his daddy is. I feel so lucky to have in-laws that I feel comfortable being with. They are so great!
Thanks for everything...until next time.

best holiday...the 4th

The 4th of July really is my favorite holiday. It just screams summertime.
Beach
Barefoot
Sunscreen
Sand
Waves
Warm Water
BBQ's
Fireworks
I love this one of Beck and Grandpa...they are having a moment.
Can these kids get any cuter?
Lovin the sand
At my parents getting ready for fireworks. (which B slept through)
I have a feeling we will remake this picture in about 20 years or so
And this one.
My beautiful sisters and mom.
Happy 4th everyone! I hope it was spent outdoors.
