Folsom Lake

The next day we went on a hike (pictures on P's phone...i'll add later) near Lincoln with Grandpa and Grandma Lou Lou. And then after naps...for us all! We went to this beautiful lake called Folsom Lake about 30 minutes from their house. The water is very low right now so it was quite the hike down to the water but boy was it worth it! Here are some of my favorite pictures of the trip.

Beck sure loves spending so much time with his daddy. I think its safe to say that he became a daddy's boy after this week. Didn't want to leave his side!
Our bathing beauty hanging out with Grandpa.
 My sweet boy!
and precious little girl.
The water was gorgeous and the waves were perfect! =]
And since we had the lake to ourselves and Beck's diaper was filled to the brim with water (see above picture) we let the kid go free....and boy was he lovin life!
(i love love love this picture! he will probably hate me for it one day. But seriously? cutest thing EVER!)

Next time we will have to rent some jet skis or a boat and see the whole Lake. I Love water!

Apple Hill

Pehrson's parents moved to Sacramento a couple weeks ago from Oklahoma. It is SO great to have them so much closer. I'm pretty sure we will be gonig up there a lot more. There are some fun things to do and lots to see. The first place we stopped was a cute little place called Apple Hill. Petting zoos. Vineyards. Apple Orchards. Christmas Tree lots. Pumpkins. Apple food. And Picking your own apples. It was Heavenly.

We will definitely visit this place again someday. I think fall/winter time would be the perfect time. When its a little cold out so you can wear scarves and boots and drink hot apple cider. YUM!

black&white

On Labor Day we went to a Pool Party at Jessi's house and didn't realize it was going to be an LA singles party. There was one other married couple and us with our 2 kids. We sure looked out of place. But we didn't care. We chatted with some old friends, had some good food and played in the pool. One of the guys there took a bunch of pictures of these cute kiddos and sent them to me. I loved all 300 of them. But just wanted to put up my favorites.

You can just see the joy in Beck's face. All this kid needs is water and he is a happy camper!
Thanks John for these great pics. I'll cherish them forever.
