rAnDOm...

Hey! So these are all pretty random pictures...but i like random so here is goes. First off when we were in hawaii in april the beautiful and talented photographer Natalie Norton needed to take pictures for a blog that she publishes for and asked if we could be here models for a cinco de mayo theme shoot. I mean whats more fitting than finding two blondes to model for a spanish holiday. Pretty awesome! Here are a few of the ones she took...p.s. in the last ones it was POURING rain.

A couple of weeks ago i had the day off at work and called the moms in the area to see what they were up to and they were going to the Arbiritum (spelling?) in San Marino. It's a huge garden with lakes and waterfalls and random animals. It was beautiful!

If you watch Glee (if you don't you should!) then you might recognize this girl below. She was on the show a couple weeks ago and played Sue's sister. She Loved that we asked to take a picture with her. She said, "I'm Famous!" it was so cute.

I meet up with my BF since kindergarten for her birthday. It was so good to see her and spend a night "catching up" we need to do that more often!

We went to a Dodgers game with some other couples and got a steal of a deal. Our seats were only a dollar. Cheap date. It was awesome. We got a dodger dog and a frozen lemonade. Yum! I have always been more of an angels fan (sorry melissa) but i like the color blue more than red. So i guess i can support both.

Saw this tree outside of the stadium and fell in love i want one of these someday!

Just last week we went on a double date with these two. It was awesome we rode bikes (one tandem bike) ate dinner at the park and then got an hour long foot massage!! What a dream...thanks boys it was awesome!

Had a shower for my sister Annie (she's the one in the black and grey shirt) Last one to get married in our family! Kind of crazy...

Can't wait for you two. Less than 2 weeks. Marriage is seriously the BEST!

Ryan is going on a mission in about 3 weeks and the Hawkley family drove from Oklahoma City to spend the weekend with us (such troopers). We had SO much fun and the weather was perfect! It couldn't have been better. So naturally we spent the weekend outside. We went...

Rented two paddle boards and took them out. It was so much fun, I can't believe I didn't take more pictures of it. But this one is all you need. (Ryan facer and his cute son Oliver)

Summer is HERE! and i love it more than anything. We got to the beach at 8:30 am and left at 5:30 pm. It was perfect!

We loved spending time with the families. We feel so lucky that my family and Pehrson's family get along so well. It makes everything so much easier.

-we went to USC on friday and Pehrson taught us how to drill a tooth.

One more thing...i had an ultrasound on friday and our baby waved to me...that was definitely the way to start off the weekend! So amazing. =]

As most of you may already know and for those of you who don't...Guess what...we are going to be parents!

I am about 10 1/2 weeks right now and overall feeling pretty good. I haven't thrown up yet but i have gotten close! I am much more tired. I could seriously sleep all day if i didn't have to go to work. And the times that i get nauseated are when i need to eat but nothing ever looks good. I keep saltine crackers in my purse at all times. =]

So...for journaling reasons here is how it all happened. Pehrson and I decided to go on a bike ride one night and as we were riding around i thought, "hey i haven't had my period in a long time, maybe lets go to the store and get a p-test" I have taken the test a couple months before always having a negative result. But, for some reason this time it just felt different. After looking at the million different types and brands we decided to go with the cheapest one. We brought it home, i did what it said and low and behold there were TWO distinct lines. Pehrson looked at me and i said "no way!" of course i started crying (cause thats what i do) and we were both ecstatic. We looked at that stick for a couple minutes, took some pictures. And thought this is real...

WE are going to bring a child into this world!

We are responsible to teach this person everything and to watch it grow!

Lots of emotions running through my head. But really the most important was that i knew it was right. If you know me well enough you would know that i have always struggled about deciding what career i want to have. I have played around with SO MANY different careers that sound like the perfect one for me but deep down knowing what i really want to do is to be a mom. As cliche as that sounds, its the truth. I think this world needs more mothers. Children need that example in their life as well as a Father. And so many kids don't get that. I am so grateful I got my education cause I know that it will help me in my life forever, and who knows I could still always go back to school if I want. But I have never felt so sure about something in my entire life. (besides getting married of course)

I can't wait for my life to start. To do what I am here on this earth to do and to teach one of Heavenly Fathers children right from wrong. To be the shoulder to cry on, the ears to listen and the voice to give advice. I had the best example you could ever ask for. My mom was and still is my best friend. She will stop anything and put all her attention on me. I just pray that I can be half the mother that she is.

We have seen the little baby twice now and it really is amazing to know that my body is forming another body. I don't know how anyone can't believe in God after going through an experience like this. Hearing the heartbeat and seeing the arms and legs grow is breathtaking.

What a miracle!

We love this baby already so much and it's not even here yet. I don't know how much love one could have for another but i'm pretty sure Pehrson and I are already full of it for this little guy/or girl! We can't wait to be parents and enter into this next chapter. We are SO ready! i think...

And maybe we will get a blonde one...cause i'm pretty sure you can't get much blonder than this...

But you never know... =]

He didn't want to be known as the dentist with the nose hairs poking out all over the place, so he decided to let me put my new waxing kit to use. It was my first time and all pehrson asked was that I pulled once, and hard, and that I didn't slip...

OOPS! Sorry for laughing at you Pehrson.

Pehrson in Panama

Pehrson had an awesome trip with Ayuda. He and some of his dental school classmates went to Panama for 10 days and gave dental care to as many people as they could. It was pretty hard work and they were in the middle of the jungle serving an indian tribe. There was no electricity, no running water...pretty much nothing! It was extremely humid and they just sweat all day long. But, they helped a lot of people and got a couple days to explore the area. Here are some of my favorite pics...there are SO many it was hard to narrow them down. This first one is there visit to the panama canal.

I love this picture. Many of these kids have never seen a camera before so they loved seeing themselves on the screen. Pehrson said that some of these kids have never even seen a white person before and when they walked into one of the classrooms one of the little girls screamed! ha

One night they went to a baseball game and it was against two really close cities. I guess it was pretty intense.

A couple of the days they had to hike up to other villages and find people that they can treat and to tell them about the clinic at the school. Look at this trail? non-existant.

Don't worry he got some surfing in. A couple guys rented boards and took a boat ride to this break in the middle of the ocean. Surfed for about 3 hours while there boat driver just waited for them and then they got taken back.

Home...

We went to Hawaii the last week of april and getting off that plane felt like we had made it home. The smells and the island haven't changed at all, it felt like we never left. We still have a bunch of friends there so we just partied all week. It was pure bliss. Here are a few things that we did...

spent a day at sunset with the one and only Michael P. Schoneman.

went to Ted's bakery...got a burger and the BEST carrot cake in the WORLD!!

Went to Waimea

did a lot of surfing with the boys. I was mostly the photographer but still got out a couple days! It was so much fun to just hang out at the beach and be together with each other and friends.

Went to Halewia Eats...of course!

Walked to the point...where we first meet 4 years ago. And lived for a couple years.

My husband is so good looking...seriously look at the face!
