And they spent that day in the hospital with their new grandson (Beck) now that is Love! They both have taught me so many things in life and i feel so lucky to have them. Feb. 3rd.
I Love good weather
I got spoiled. Growing up in California I never had to worry about weather. Maybe Rain. But never snow. We pretty much had perfect, sunny, 70 degree weather year round. It wasn't until I moved to Idaho and experienced my first winter (and had to learn to drive in the snow) I realized how much happier I am when the sun is out. Apparently we are having a cold spell all over the US right now. But in sunny southern california we are enjoying the sun and beach and the outdoors.

ps. I do like snow. But only where it should be...on the mountains.

Since February is national love month i thought i'd express some love this month. Cause I have SO much to give!

Feb. 1st
I love to Run. I am not the fastest. I am not in shape (especially right now). I don't look cute running. I'm not the girl who has the perfect outfit who wears jewelry and doesn't sweat. I usually am greasy to start with and become bright red and breath really hard. BUT I love that I can run. I never realized how much i missed it when i was pregnant.
And it feels SO good when I finish...here's to running!

Some of these are old but i'm still gonna post them. Here is Beck meeting his girlfriend Maya. They are exactly a month apart.
Here are the proud parents.
A family stroll on sunday.
Just looking as cute has ever. (thanks auntie mel for this sweet outfit!)
This older mormon dentist and alumni of USC invited all the mormon dentist to go on his yacht in newport. It was an absolutely beautiful day. Thanks Doc!

Pehrson's dream is to be a sailor someday! Here he is driving.
And if this isn't a happy face, i don't know what is. Looks like he is dreaming about sailing too.
Our Korean friend Aaron came from Hawaii to interview at USC so naturally we went to Korea town with him and ate at a korean BBQ. It was delicious.
And since it has been so amazing (weather wise) out here we took advantage and enjoyed a beautiful day at the beach. Sorry friends who live where it snows. If you ever need to escape you are more than welcome to stay with us. I honestly couldn't leave. Beck loved it and just keep looking around and chillin on the towel. The sun was starting to descend by the time we decided to leave. It was a perfect day!
And last but not least. It's friday...have a RELAXING weekend.

Okay so this has officially become "Beck's" blog. Pehrson and I are boring now and don't have anything exciting and really everyone just wants to see Beck instead. My parents have flat out told me that whenever I come home they are just excited to see Beck and not us. And I can totally see why...I mean look at this precious little face with his reddish hair, changing eye color and slowly but surely the chunky legs and arms. He is WAY more fun to look at then P and I.
Nothing is sweeter than a sleeping baby!

Thanks Jill for these beautiful shots i will cherish them forever and ever! and I Aspire to be like you someday. You are the best older sister a girl could ask for. Love you.

One Month

This is mostly just for me and my records...But feel free to read.
Beck is a month old. And I can't remember life without him. He has been nothing but fun and i'm so glad he is in our family.

Here are some things he has done in his first month of life:
-the first 6 days of life it rained...like poured rain! We had to stay inside.
-meet his cousins on christmas eve day
-went on a boat ride on Lake Mission Viejo
-looked at some christmas lights on candy cane lane
-celebrated his first christmas
-went to the beach on christmas day...it's tradition!
-realized that he LOVES bath time.
-and then drying out afterward. We sometimes blow him with a blow dryer and he loves it.
-meet his other grandparents and aunt rachel and uncle tyson.
-enjoyed some walks and days at the park
-went to the LA temple visitors center and to his first restaurant
-partied it up on New Years Eve and went to the Rose Parade in the morning
-has been to the beach a total of 6 times. 1 bonfire.
-he is a church goer now and has been to a couple of meetings with me.
-has been to 3 baby showers.
-knows how to ruin an outfit in 20 seconds or less...
-is giving many more smiles now
-is the best person to cuddle with! and loves to sleep.
-hates being swaddled...well, just hates not being able to move his arms around.
-loves moving around. If he is in one spot for too long...he will let you know.
-is making more cooing noises.
-has gotten better at moving and pushing himself around and lifting up his head.
-and most importantly he is starting to chunk up...the arms, the legs, THE cheeks...they are getting bigger everyday and I LOVE it!

(and how cute is his outfit. My sweet sister-in-law gave me these. They are stickers for each month that you put on a onesie and can reuse them or through them away)
