A Day to Remember

Pehrson had wednesday off this week. And we needed to get our snow fix for the season, so we drove two hours up to Big Bear and played in the snow for the day. It was a gorgeous, fun day. Beck loved every second of it. First we went sledding.
JADE was KILLing me in this get-up. How cute is her little puffy jacket and boots. I couldn't stop kissing her all day. SO so cute.

 Beck loved throwing "Big ones!"
Daddy did too...
Then we got to take the chair lift to the top of the Alpine slide. Again Beck loved it!
 And so did we...

 Saying,"Again!"
 YUM!
And finished the afternoon playing in the snow, eating and building a snowman.
"Nice to meet ya"
It was seriously so fun! I love snow but only on moutains, thats where it should be. I don't really love driving in it. And that's what is so great about living in California. You enjoy the best of both worlds. We drove home and went on a bike ride along the beach and watched the sunset.
It was a PERFECT DAY!

Did my 3rd half marathon on Saturday.
I had 2 goals:
Run the whole time
Finish under 2 hours
I succeeded.
AND I GOT TO RUN WITH THESE LADIES!!
It was so fun to do this with my sisters and MOM! So proud of everyone. And this isn't the last time you will see #teamgreen! We will definitely be doing more.

Christmas

December is seriously one of the most exciting months for everyone. But especially for our family. We have a birthday, an Anniversary, Christmas and New Years. So many things to do and lights to see.
El Segundo has a street that becomes Candy Cane Lane (literally they change the street name during the month of December) And it is probably one of the best I've ever seen. And Santa comes every night at 7. Beck wasn't the biggest fan. Jade didn't care.
Had a ward Christmas Party that I helped with. Santa came to this party too. But we had to leave early and whats funny is that all our primary kids thought that Pehrson was Santa because they saw him in the beginning but couldn't find him in the end. Ha it was awesome.
 My little sugar plum fairy.
Decorated the house with our "small" Christmas tree for our small place. We loved it.
We put up some lights around the 19th. We were a little late, but we still enjoyed them for a couple weeks. Don't you love our ladder.
Christmas we had a wonderful dinner by my Mom and then went to the traditional Candy Cane Lane in MV. Beck loves being with his cousins. So he of course had a lot of fun.

Christmas morning was the best with all of these sweet faces!!! Really do they get much cuter?
Traditional stand on the steps Christmas morning picture.
The cousins helping Beck with his present. I love Dane's face!!
Beck got a balance bike. It has no peddles on it and is really small so they can start practicing the idea of riding a bike. He likes his scooter a little bit better, but will still try out the bike every so often.
This lover boy sneaking in a Christmas morning kiss. He loves his sister.
And it was this sweet girls first Christmas, she got some cute clothes and a few dolls, but really she was just happy playing with the tree ornaments and wrapping paper.
And as we always do we finished Christmas day at the Beach watching the most BEAUTIFUL sunset!!! These first two pictures aren't edited at all. It was absolutely stunning. I could have stared at it forever!
It was one of my favorite Christmas! I am so grateful for such a wonderful family who loves to be together and everyone gets along. And seeing it all through the kids eyes just makes it that much more special. I love this time of year, but excited for the new year and new adventures.
