9 months

9 months in, 9 months out. This girl just gets cuter and cuter every day! I could eat her up.

-She is a busy body. Always moving. Started crawling around 6-7months (just like B)

-loves to be up and walking

-Is the BEST eater! She will eat anything and everything. Does great with a bottle. I just stopped nursing completely a week ago. It's bittersweet. I wasn't producing as much and she was getting frustrated and realized the bottle is much more efficient. 

-says "ma ma ma" "da da da" "la la la" and just learned how to click her tongue.

-Still only has two bottom teeth. But I think her top 4 are all coming in right now.

-loves to be outside or in my arms.

-likes playing dress up (she told me ;-)

-loves being around her brother. And is a good little walking buddy.

-is always smiling! When strangers come say hi to her she lights up and gives them a big smile. She will definitely make your day better.

-I have been going to this new gym and so far she has done great with the daycare. Last time I picked her up the ladies said,"can we keep her! she just won't stop smiling!" 

-she has the best little laugh too. Daddy knows how to get her going and it will just melt your heart. 

-her little belly button is still herniated and actually looks like its getting bigger but my doctor still thinks it will go back on its own and not to worry about it. 

-she still isn't the best sleeper. Sometimes she will sleep through the night but she usually gets up at least once. And I think the top four teeth coming in has something to do with that...come on teeth just break through already!!!

-she is strong. she can pull herself up on anything, can climb the stairs and has mastered the daddy handstand.

-AND EVERYTHING goes straight to the mouth.....EVERYTHING!

I LOOOOOVEEEE this age!!! And this girl.

El Segundo

So we just moved from our cute little house in El Segundo and are back living with my parents. We signed a year lease last march and seriously can not believe how fast that year went by. Since Pehrson doesn't have to drive to school as often we thought why not save some money and move to my parents for the next 3 months. It was sad to leave our cute place and I totally cried when we drove away for the last time. So many things have happened in the last 4 years and I will always have many fond memories of living with/starting my family in Los Angeles. Who knows where we will end up someday, we are thrilled to have many new adventures. And excited to learn and grow at each new place. And really, as long as I have my family, I can live anywhere!

Girls Weekend

I went on a much needed girls weekend a couple weeks ago. I meet these fun girls my first year in South Pasadena. They are all dental wives, but one, I'm the last one still in school. We decided we needed to get together so these girls came in from Oregon, New York, New Mexico and California. We got a hotel down in San Diego and just had too much fun. We shopped, ate, hiked, hot tubbed, ran, sat right behind Mitt Romney at church and did lots and lots and LOTS of talking!!! It is amazing how much 7 girls can talk in 3 days. I don't think there was ever a silent moment. I am so so grateful to know these girls and look up to each one. 

Thanks girls for such a fun time! Until we meet again.....

I get asked daily how far apart these two are. The answer: 18 months. They always follow with, "you must be busy!" or "wow! do you like that?" To be honest I love it....Annnd I don't know any other way. Sure some of my days I feel like all I did was feed and change diapers, but these two absolutely LOVE eachother!!! Beck has always been crazy about Jade since day one. He wants to hold her and kiss her and show her all his toys. But now Jade is getting old enough to react and whenever she sees Beck or when he gets up from his nap after her, she starts flapping her arms and crawling over to him as fast as possible. Jade is learning how to walk and crawl up the stairs and Beck is always right by her side cheering her on. And when she reaches the top step Beck will jump up and down saying, "you did it Jadey Gurl!" He loves to hold her and roll her around and Jade just takes it, to be honest I think she loves it. My favorite is that he is always very concerned about her, if I give Beck a snack he always says, "Jade cracker too..." And he loves to make her laugh. I don't know how I got so lucky but having these two so close together has been wonderful. Not sure I'll do them all that way but I know these two are here to protect one another and I couldn't feel more blessed to call them mine. 

Los Liones Hike

This is my favorite hike in LA. I've done it a handful of times and could do it everyday if I could. But it's fun to look at these old pics and see the different phases of life we were in at the time.

Valentines Day

V-Day is such a wonderful day when you get to spend it with these three. We surprised Pehrson at school for lunch. And he was actually surprised. I can never surprise him. And Beck loved carrying his Curious George lunchbox around. And now whenever he picks it up he says,"bye mom, I'm goin to school, see ya later. Love you!" 

 What a lucky girl I am to have these three to love. 

Disneyland year in Review

Well Disneyland,

 Our year has come to an end. I didn't think I would like you as much as I did. We definitely got our moneys worth. Thanks for ALL the fun memories. I probably went almost every week or every other week (when I wasn't blacked out) during the last year. Even though I mostly just did the kids rides, I did get to sneak in a few "big kid" rides once in a while. What a magical place it is! You know how to take our money and not make us feel guilty about it...."cause we're at Disneyland!" 

Here comes memory lane.... from the first day to the last and most of the time in between. I started with 1 kid @ 12 months and ended with 2 kids @2 & 6 months...How quickly a year can change things.

I know Beck will probably forget that we had passes one time in our lives. But i will ALWAYS remember these fun days with him and with Jade. Thanks Disneyland for bringing our family closer together. You were always a good time. Maybe will see you again in Orlando! =]
